As a country with a large population and a large oil consumer, China has a large output of waste oil, which is a key area for fuel merchants and traders.
However, the EU standard (EN14214) is the highest standard for biodiesel in the world. The domestic industry’s key indicators, especially sulfur content, have not yet fully reached the EU standards, which has adversely affected the export of biodiesel to the EU.
Ultra-low sulfur system
The sulfur in the biodiesel system includes: mercaptans, sulfides, disulfides, thiophenes, benzothiophenes, dibenzothiophenes, alkyl dibenzothiophenes, etc., which are characterized by diversity and stubbornness. In view of this, the company has combined basic research and engineering applications to carry out major research projects. Successfully developed a "point cohesion, surface coupling" ultra-low sulfur methyl ester distillation system. The system obtains ultra-low sulfur biodiesel through the strategy of "targeted conversion, dimensionality reduction and removal".
